Speckled Porcelain Pendants
Glowing ceramic pendant lights made from super-translucent English porcelain mixed with recycled brick grog.
Each pendant is unique. The casting process and high firing temperature create subtle variations in texture and irregularities in shape that form the character of each piece.

A unique ceramic body developed at Granby Workshop, combining refined porcelaneous materials with recycled brick grog.
This body was developed for lighting products. It is strong and highly translucent. When lit, it creates a warm glow, the surface speckled with tiny pieces of brick.
Production
Handmade in Liverpool, the subtly irregular pendants are slip-cast from liquid clay. Made in small production runs, we roughly crush recycled brick and mix it with English porcelain slip to make pendants with rich, textured surfaces.
They are high-fired to 1300°C in electric kilns powered by renewable energy, turning the body translucent and fusing the brick speckles into the surface.

Speckled Porcelain Pendants are handmade ceramic pendant lights available in two sizes.
Each pendant is supplied with a ceramic E27 bulb holder, 2m black fabric cord and black powder-coated metal ceiling rose.
Custom pendants can be developed for projects on request.

FAQ
Speckled Porcelain Pendants are supplied with a ceramic E27 bulb holder, 2 m black fabric cord and black powder-coated metal ceiling rose.
Speckled Porcelain Pendants are designed for use with an E27 screw fit LED bulb. Bulbs are not included with orders.
The cable can be shortened during installation by a qualified electrician. We can also supply alternative cable lengths on request. Please contact us before placing an order to discuss your requirements.
Our standard Speckled Porcelain Pendants have a 2–4 week production lead time. Lead times for bespoke pendants and larger project orders will vary depending on the project. Contact us to discuss your project and current production times.
