Sky Blue vitrified Encaustic Tiles handmade in Liverpool. They are made with an unglazed, vitrified clay body containing 73% ceramic industry waste. Blocks of clay are marbled together by hand, sliced and flattened in a 60 tonne hydraulic press. Suitable for interior and exterior use on floors and walls.
The tiles were originally developed for ‘The Factory Floor’ at the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale. Read more about how they are made here.
